Duck Days is the University of Oregon's spring campus visit program for admitted students and their families. Whether you are a recently admitted senior finalizing your college selection or a transfer student from another college or university, don't miss this opportunity to:
- Explore a world-class university with an international reputation for academic excellence—the only member of the prestigious Association of American Universities in the state of Oregon.
- Find out about our First-Year Programs and why the number of freshmen who continue here at the UO is 20 percent above the national average.
- Discover the UO's superior student services and campus involvement opportunities.
Please wait to make travel arrangements until you have received your confirmation email after registering for Duck Days. These events often fill to capacity and once that occurs, we are unable to change your registration to accommodate previously made travel plans. For instance, we cannot add you to a full event even if you’ve made flight reservations before attempting to register.
Registration will close eight days prior to each event or when the event reaches capacity, whichever comes first.
What is on the agenda?
Duck Days will include campus tours, academic exploration sessions, and an information fair. Attendees will also hear from First-Year Programs, housing, financial aid, and other departments. Guests can purchase lunch in any of our dining venues or retail eateries on campus. Guests should arrive on campus between 9:30-10:15 a.m. and plan to stay until around 4:30 p.m. A detailed schedule and arrival instructions will be emailed to registered guests one week prior to the event.
